I was tasked with developing an identity system for the internal team responsible for telling Nike’s story to new hires. Historically, this team had an inconsistent brand message, so interactions with Meet Nike were confusing and disjointed. They requested a versatile logo that spoke to the dominating force of Nike’s heritage. The result is a crest that locks the M and N together to represent unity between the seasoned employees and new hires, but more importantly, to link the significance of Nike’s history to the endless possibilities the future will bring. I also designed usage guidelines that included colors, typography, and patterns, as well as a presentation template for the team to easily reach candidates with a consistent message.
