CBX agency went through a brand identity update to better represent their aggressive yet fun culture and the award-winning work it’s produced since it was founded in 2003. The goal was to completely transform their visual identity — logo, typography, color palette, photography, collateral, iconography, etc.— to make the CBX brand fresh for new and potential clients yet familiar to existing partners by maintaining their no-nonsense New Yorker tone-of-voice.

CBX was determined to expand in a vast array of digital avenues that would require a robust yet intuitive backend editor. Employees with varying degrees of technical experience would be creating content to showcase new client work, a weekly video series, a podcast, and a heavily trafficked blog. With all these different content types and knowing that time was limited to optimize the experience for different devices.
